Greenpower Education Trust is a UK based charity which gets young people enthusiastic about science and engineering by challenging them to design, build and race an electric car.

GREENPOWER FAST FACTS

The Greenpower challenge, uses the excitement of motorsport to inspire young people to excel in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).​

More than 10,000 students take part each year, from primary school age through to university, of which 40% are female.

A growing number of international teams participate in Greenpower events and the USA, China, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, Poland and Belgium run programmes under the Greenpower licence.

Greenpower equips young people with the type of skills they will need to develop a career in motorsport, for example as an engineer or team manager.

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR

2023

GREENPOWER ME WAS FOUNDED

In 2024, Pole Position embarked on a journey to provide STEM learning in EV Technology and Motorsports. With a CSR programme, which corporate businesses could be involved in, to inspire the children and potential engineers of tomorrow.

2024

FIRST GREEN POWER MIDDLE EAST FINALS EVENT

The Season One Grand Final took place at Karting Town Sharjah, where eleven schools came together for an exhilarating showcase of innovation and teamwork. These schools unveiled their Greenpower cars for the first time, demonstrating their engineering skills, creativity, and commitment to sustainable racing.
