Greenpower Middle East today announced Peec Moblility, regional leaders in repurposing internal combustion vehicles into electrical vehicles, as the official sponsor for The International School of Choueifat Sharjah.

After a successful season one, Greenpower, a UK based charity brought to the Middle East, has an outstanding track record of getting young people enthusiastic about science and engineering by challenging them to design, build and race an electric car. Now, with Peec Mobility’s focus being to encourage the young minds of the UAE into being excited about electric vehicles and the science behind them, together, Greenpower ME will continue to grow and enhance operations driving the charity forward and delivering the opportunity to more of the young engineers of tomorrow.

The choice to sponsor International School of Choueifat Sharjah was a personal one for the CEO of Peec Mobility, Zach Faizal as he had attended the school in his younger years. The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEIUAE) visited the school yesterday, offering the students the opportunity to showcase their progress with the greenpower project and discuss the ideas the students have to help with the plan to increase the use of electric vehicles in the UAE.

This partnership will see Peec Mobility offer opportunities to the students of the International School of Choueifat Sharjah, where they plan to host workshops at their HQ, offer the opportunity to gain a better a understanding of aerodynamics, battery technologies and design and ultimately, accumulating into an exciting summer internship at Peec Mobility for selected students.

Peec Mobility branding will be featured on the cars and clothing of the International School of Choueifat Sharjah students taking part in the Middle East finals event, among other touch points.

Gary Busby, Partnerships Director, Pole Position & Greenpower Middle East, said:

"Pole Position is truly thrilled to welcome Peec Mobility as a supporting brand partner for Greenpower Season 2 across the UAE. As a UAE-founded company with a unique and innovative approach to converting ICE vehicles to EVs, Peec Mobility is the perfect partner to join us on this journey."

Zach Faizal , CEO, Peec Mobility, said:

"We’re excited to work with Greenpower and sponsor the International School of Choueifat. Building automotive engineering talent in the region is incredibly important for us as a business and I already have so much hope for the future after seeing how much knowledge and passion these students have to offer."
